Here is a link to a video with a correctly positioned dashcam in action. If there are vehicles/packs you'd like done, and you don't wanna follow the easy tutorial below, lemme know and I'll probably make it happen for you! This download will include the X, Y and Z positions for the vehicles supported, as well as a list of supported vehicles and links to those vehicles. I also included my default positions for cars that don't have cameras modeled.
This is not a comprehensive list, it is only vehicles I have used in my videos. The viewpoint is positioned directly in front of the mounted camera and moved forward just far enough to get it outside the glass to avoid odd texture effects. I decided it would be fun and immersive for my YouTube video's to reposition the dash cam positions from Dashcam V so that they were displaying from where the camera model is mounted in vehicles that have them. The first thing you should see is some numbers.
